The Electro‑Voice EVID-PC8.2 is the most advanced in-ceiling speaker system available today, delivering superior performance in every respect. Ideal for shopping malls, restaurants, theaters and stadiums, shopping malls, and a wide range of applications that require superior quality distributed audio. Each standalone unit is equipped with a dedicated compression driver providing improved high frequency performance and coverage control over existing EVID in-ceiling speaker offerings. A long-throw 8" woofer housed in a large, ventilated 14-gauge steel cabinet delivers extended bass reproduction. 200W of power delivers a peak SPL of 114dB. A simplified wiring diagram and innovative new built-in fasteners allow for faster installation in a wide variety of ceiling cavities and structural formats.
