Turntable without cartridge Rega Planar 3 (Black)

The Rega Planar 3 turntable is an enhanced model, developed over two years under the leadership of Roy Gandy from Rega. The turntable is the result of the largest redesign of the iconic "Three" model, and it uses only two components from the previous RP3 model. The Planar 3 features an innovative design, including a lightweight laminated acrylic plinth with an enhanced double brace system that improves stability and reduces resonance. This solution prevents unwanted energy transmission and distortion, resulting in cleaner and more natural sound.

The Planar 3 is equipped with the RB330 tonearm, designed using modern 3D CAD and CAM technologies. The tonearm features a new bearing housing and intelligent mass redistribution to reduce resonance points, allowing for more detail to be gathered from the vinyl track. Additionally, it uses an updated central bearing to reduce stress, as well as a new 24V motor with an anti-vibration system and the option to connect to the Rega Neo power supply (sold separately).

The Planar 3 features improved isolation thanks to new feet that reduce vibration, and an updated 12mm polished glass platter with high manufacturing accuracy. The turntable comes with a clear dust cover to protect it from dust.
