David Bowie's “Black Tie White Noise” album was released against the backdrop of his marriage to Iman and the breakup of Tin Machine. Recorded in 1992, this release is marked by a variety of styles, from art rock to hip-hop. The album features heavy saxophone music, as well as guest appearances including Mike Garson and Mick Ronson. "Black Tie White Noise" received positive reviews from critics, debuting at number one on the UK Albums Chart, but its promotion in America was hampered by the breakup of Savage Records.
