ABBA is a Swedish pop band formed in Stockholm in 1972. Its line-up included four talented performers: Agnet Fæltskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Fried Lyngstad. The band's name is an abbreviation of the first letters of their names, which form a palindrome. ABBA is one of the most popular and successful musical groups of all time. They topped the charts worldwide from 1974 to 1982, and from 2016 to 2022 after a brief comeback. In 1974 ABBA became the first Eurovision winner from Sweden with the song "Waterloo", which in 2005 was recognized as the best song in the history of the contest.
After more than 40 years of hiatus, the band is back with a new album called “Voyage”. It is the long-awaited ninth studio album by the Swedish pop group ABBA, which was released on November 5, 2021. It features new songs that make listeners feel nostalgic. ABBA was the basis for the popular musical “Mamma Mia!”, which toured the world. This musical was distinguished by the band's hits and became a favorite among the audience.
