The Ortofon CC MKII Scratch stylus is specifically designed for scratching. Thanks to its unique construction, it installs easily with a clear tactile feedback, ensuring a snug and secure fit. A special cut-out at the front of the stylus allows for highly precise needle placement — essential for accurate playback control.
This stylus features a spherical tip with an 18 μm radius, a dynamic lateral compliance of 14 μm/mN, and an impressive tracking ability of up to 120 μm at 315 Hz. Channel balance is just 1 dB at 1 kHz, with channel separation of 22 dB, delivering excellent stereo sound quality. The recommended tracking force is 4 g, with a maximum of 5 g. The stylus itself weighs only 1 g.
