Diana Krall is a Canadian jazz singer and pianist, known for her velvety contralto voice and refined performance style. A winner of three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards, she is one of the most successful jazz artists of today. Her albums have sold over 15 million copies worldwide. Krall combines jazz classics with fresh interpretations, allowing her to create a distinctive and innovative approach in the genre.
Wallflower is the twelfth studio album by Canadian singer and pianist Diana Krall, released on February 3, 2015, by Verve Records. The album was produced by David Foster. It features cover versions of well-known pop and rock hits, including songs by the Eagles, Carpenters, 10cc, and Elton John. The only new song is "If I Take You Home Tonight," written by Paul McCartney – originally intended for his own album, but Krall received permission to record it. The album received mixed critical reviews. Despite this, Wallflower was commercially successful, debuting at number two in Canada and number ten in the US. The supporting tour, Wallflower World Tour, began in Boston on February 25, 2015.
