Elbow is a British rock band from Bury, founded in 1990. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Guy Garvey, keyboardist Craig Potter, guitarist Mark Potter, and bassist Pete Turner. They are known for their unique style that blends alternative rock, indie rock, and art rock. Throughout their career, the band has released ten studio albums, including "Asleep in the Back" and "The Seldom Seen Kid", and has won numerous prestigious awards, including the Mercury Music Prize and Brit Award.
Giants of All Sizes is the eighth studio album by British rock band Elbow, released on October 11, 2019. It stands out for its darker and deeper content compared to the band's previous works. The lyrics touch on important and painful themes, such as Brexit, the Grenfell Tower tragedy, and the personal losses of vocalist Guy Garvey – the death of his father and two close friends. The album received critical acclaim and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
