Ellie Goulding (Elena Jane Goulding) was born on December 30, 1986 in Hereford, England. She is an English singer and songwriter. In 2009, she signed a contract with Polydor Records and released her debut mini-album "An Introduction to Ellie Goulding". Following the release of her third studio album Delirium (2015) and its lead single “On My Mind”, Goulding received her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance for the single “Love Me Like You Do”.
Higher Than Heaven is the fifth Ellie Goulding album and marks a return to a more lively sound. It's an album full of club hits that differs from her previous 2020 album Brightest Blue in its energy and fresh feel. The singer focused on exploring other aspects of her personality. The album includes songs that reflect different styles of dance music, including 80s synthpop, disco, R&B, and 90s pop. It includes songs that have already become hits, such as “Like A Saviour”, “Just For You”, and “Love Goes On”.
