Green Gray is a famous Ukrainian rock band founded in Kyiv in 1993 by Andriy Yatsenko, known as Diezel. The band is known for its unique style that combines various genres such as rapcore, funk rock, trip-hop, and dub core. Their songs, such as “Pod dozhdom”, “Mazafaka”, “Emigrant”, “Stereosistema”, “Tot den'”, gained popularity among listeners. The group became the first in Ukraine to win the MTV Europe Music Awards.
550MF – is the second album by the band, which was first released on February 25, 2000. The name “550MF” is deciphered as “550 Meters of Funk”, reflecting the unique style and energy of the band. On August 1, 2024, a limited edition release of the orange vinyl disc with remastered sound was made. This release is a true find for all Green Grey fans and vinyl collectors. Like the debut album of Green Grey, 550MF continues to delight listeners with captivating tracks that have become hits. The most attention-grabbing tracks include “Depressive November” and “MF”, known among the people as “Mazafaka” or “Autumn”.
