Corruption is a well-known Ukrainian hip-hop group whose music is critically acclaimed as neo-chanson. It was founded in 2019 by legendary Kharkiv rapper Misha Krupin (Uncle Vasya, Tuman, cddtribe), who was actively involved in both the hip-hop scene and show business (in particular, he wrote tracks for the band NIKITA). According to him, Corruption does not have a specific genre, but is a kind of combination of blues, swing and jazz. The lyrics range from satirical and lyrical to acutely social. The band's discography includes 2 albums and 9 singles - all of them were hits with fans of the genre both in Ukraine and abroad. The project started as a Russian-language project, but since 2022 it has been recording and performing songs in Ukrainian. Corruption can boast of various awards and prizes, millions of listens on streaming services and YouTube views. Today, the band members are engaged in volunteer activities.

Журавли (Storks) is the debut album by the rap project Corruption, released in 2019. It immediately made the band one of the most popular neo-chanson acts. The record captures the project's characteristic style: gloomy and atmospheric music with elements of jazz and swing combined with satirical, humorous, and lyrical lyrics. "Zhuravli” is respected among fans of this genre and can be considered a cult band. It was with this LP that hundreds of thousands of listeners from Ukraine and abroad learned about the band and Misha Krupin in particular. This record is suitable for both background and thoughtful listening.
