Description

Dead Rooster is a Ukrainian musical group that originated in the environment of students from Ivan Franko Lviv University in 1989. The members of the band started their musical activity in the "Cheremosh" choir. The leader was Lyubko Futorsky, and the first musical experiments were acoustic performances, which earned the group recognition at festivals such as "Vyvyh" and "Chervona Ruta". In the 1990s, the band actively toured and experimented with sound, recording several albums. One of the unique features of their music is the use of poems by famous Ukrainian poets. After a break in activity, in 2023 the band returned to the stage with a new vocalist, Yurko Roketsky.

SHABADABADA is an album released in 1998. It is one of the most anticipated vinyl releases in the history of Ukrainian music. The album combines classic texts by Taras Shevchenko with the energy of contemporary rock, particularly in songs like "Sadok Vyshnevyi" and "Revetastogne", and also features iconic tracks such as "Potsilunok" and "Kholodno". Original reinterpretations of works by Volodymyr Ivasyuk and Maksym Rylsky add depth to the album. The limited edition includes 299 hand-numbered copies. The album contains a booklet with lyrics, and the first 100 copies come with autographs from the band members.

The album contains 2 LPs with 19 tracks.
