Stepan Giga (1959–2025) is a legendary figure of the Ukrainian pop scene, a composer, and a People's Artist of Ukraine. His creative journey began in Zakarpattia and led him through the Kyiv Conservatory to solo performances that sold out venues across the country. He became the first artist in independent Ukraine whose album sales ("Vulytsia Natali") exceeded one million copies, earning him the country's first "Golden Disc." Stepan Giga left behind a vast musical legacy, becoming a true idol for many generations thanks to his unique voice and sincere performances.
The album "Krashchi pisni" (Best Songs) is an exclusive vinyl reissue of Stepan Giga's work in an updated design. The tracklist includes 10 iconic hits, such as "Tsei son," "Vyno kokhannia," and "Tretii tost," along with one newly added track. The edition is released in a gatefold format (fold-out jacket), supplemented with a poster and a booklet containing song lyrics. This is a limited edition where each copy is hand-numbered. The total circulation is only 399 copies, making this album a special find for collectors and true fans of Ukrainian classics.
