Description

Stevie Wonder is a legendary American musician, singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who made a huge contribution to the development of soul, R&B, and pop music of the 20th century. Despite being blind since early childhood, he became one of the most influential and successful artists of all time. He signed his first contract with Motown Records at the age of 11, and since then has released dozens of hits, including “Superstition,” “I Wish,” “Sir Duke,” and “Isn't She Lovely.” His work is characterized by deep emotions, social themes, and technical virtuosity, and Wonder has won a record 25 Grammy Awards and a well-deserved place in the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Halls of Fame.

Innervisions is Stevie Wonder's sixteenth studio album, released on August 3, 1973, and a key moment in his creative development. In this album, Vander not only expands his musical boundaries, but also addresses social issues such as racial inequality, urbanization, religion, and political hypocrisy. Living for the City has become a vivid example of musical activism, combining a dramatic story with an innovative sound. Vander recorded most of the instruments on the record, including synthesizers, drums and bass, by himself, demonstrating an impressive level of musical skill. The album has received numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Album of the Year and recognition on lists of the best albums of all time. Innervisions doesn't just reflect the spirit of the 1970s – it shapes it.

The album contains 9 tracks:

  • A1. Too High
