The Killers – an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001 by Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboards) and Dave Keuning (guitar). The core lineup also includes Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drums). They have released seven studio albums, each of which reached the top of the UK charts, including "Hot Fuss" (2004) and "Pressure Machine" (2021). The band has sold over 28 million albums worldwide and is considered one of the most successful rock bands of the 21st century.
Direct Hits is a greatest hits album by American rock band The Killers, released on November 11, 2013, by Island Records. It includes tracks from the band's first four studio albums and two new hits – "Shot at the Night" and "Just Another Girl." Vocalist Brandon Flowers stated that the album was a great way to wrap things up and move on to the next chapter.
