Thirty Seconds To Mars is an American rock band formed in 1998 by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. The band quickly gained popularity due to its unique style, which combines elements of alternative rock, progressive rock, and post-grunge. Jared Leto, a well-known actor and the band's frontman, brings a unique energy and charisma to the music, which became one of the key factors in the success of Thirty Seconds To Mars. Since its formation, the band has released several albums, each receiving positive reviews from critics and fans, helping them become one of the most influential bands of their time.
America is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, released on April 6, 2018. It is their first album in five years, after "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams" (2013), and the last to feature guitarist Tomo Miličević, who left the band two months after its release. The album marks a sharp transition to an electronic and art-pop sound, with lyrics exploring themes such as politics, intimacy, and fame. The album received mixed reviews from critics but achieved commercial success, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
