The FGN NJB100RAL from the Neo Classic series is a successful interpretation of the classic Jazz Bass with updated technical solutions characteristic of modern instruments. Made in Japan with characteristic attention to detail, this model combines traditional style, signature ergonomics, and engineering improvements that enhance playing comfort and sound variability.

The body is made of alder, a wood known for its versatility and balanced sound. The maple neck with rosewood fingerboard has a U-profile that is optimally balanced for both fingerstyle and pick playing. The Medium Jumbo frets are treated with C.F.S. (Circle Fretting System) technology, which improves intonation and ensures a smooth transition between positions.

At the heart of the sound are a pair of FGN 62J passive single-coil pickups, which deliver classic JB tone with clearly articulated mids and a pleasant attack. The familiar three-element control — 2 volume and 1 tone — is complemented by a push-pull switch that switches the circuit from parallel to series, adding density and power to the sound. This allows you to vary the tone from retro funk to modern groove with a single movement.

Reliable GOTOH hardware, classic 3-Tone Sunburst finish, and a case and tuning tools make this model an excellent choice for both stage and studio use.
