The Yamaha LS-TA TransAcoustic (Brown Sunburst) is an electric acoustic guitar that combines traditional acoustic sound with Yamaha's advanced technology. With integrated reverb and chorus effects that are created without the use of external devices, the guitar delivers a surround sound that is ideal for solo playing, performing, or studio work. TransAcoustic technology works by using a special actuator that resonates in the body of the guitar, adding effects directly to the acoustic sound of the instrument.
The body of the model is made of carefully selected materials. The top is made of solid Engelmann spruce, treated with ARE (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, which provides a warm, played sound typical of vintage instruments. The bottom and sides are made of rosewood, which adds depth to the sound and contributes to a rich tonal balance.
The fingerboard is made of mahogany reinforced with rosewood inlays, which ensures structural stability, comfortable playing, and long service life. The neck and bridge are made of ebony, known for its durability and smoothness. Thanks to the enhanced body binding system and Concert shape, the instrument offers a powerful sound with crisp highs and rich lows.
The TransAcoustic controls are compactly arranged to minimize acoustic sound loss. Three knobs allow you to adjust the intensity of reverb (room/auditorium), chorus and line output volume. The amplifier is powered by two AA batteries, and the battery compartment is integrated into the cable connector.
