The EKX series combines legendary EV sound quality and reliability with the latest technology, all in a compact package suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications, including musicians, DJs and live, club, installed sound. The passive EKX models are ideal for portable and installation applications.
Electro-Voice EKX-15 is a 1600W passive two-way loudspeaker. It has a durable and compact plywood body with a durable EVCoat finish. The waveguide design of the Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) provides accurate coverage and good audio quality at high SPLs. The EKX-15 delivers up to 132dB SPL thanks to highly sensitive drivers designed and engineered by EV (EVS-15M 15" woofer paired with DH-1M 1" titanium compression driver). For ease of installation and transportation, the EKX-15 is equipped with eight mounting points with M10 thread. It can also be mounted on a stand or used as a floor monitor on stage.
