The EKX Series is the latest member of the Electro-Voice family of portable speaker systems, combining the legendary quality and reliability of EV sound with the latest technology – all in a compact package suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement scenarios, including musicians and DJs, live, club, installation sound. The EKX series includes eight 8 models – four active and four passive, including 12- and 15-inch two-way models, as well as 15- and 18-inch subwoofers. The passive EKX models are ideal for portable and installation applications, with lightweight and compact 15mm wood housings with internal reinforcement, durable EVCoat coating and all-metal handles.
The Electro-Voice EKX-15S is a powerful passive subwoofer designed for live performances by musicians and DJs. The EKX-15S delivers up to 133dB SPL thanks to highly sensitive drivers designed and engineered by EV.
