Frank Sinatra is an iconic voice of the twentieth century, one of the most influential American performers whose work spans half a century of musical history. Nice 'n' Easy is the eighteenth studio album by Frank Sinatra, released on July 25, 1960. All of the album's songs, except for the title track, are lyrical ballads, arranged and conducted by Nelson Riddle, Sinatra's constant musical partner of the period. The song “Nice ‘n’ Easy” was added at the last stage, replacing the planned “The Nearness of You”. The album was a huge success: it topped the Billboard stereo chart for nine weeks and the mono chart for a week. At the 1961 Grammy Awards, the album was nominated for Album of the Year, Best Male Vocal Performance, and Best Arrangement. Over time, the album became a classic of the genre and continues to influence performers to this day.
