The Cranberries – an Irish rock band formed in 1989 in Limerick, Ireland. Initially called The Cranberry Saw Us, the band included singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. However, in 1990, Niall Quinn was replaced by Dolores O'Riordan, and the band was renamed The Cranberries. Musically, the band classified itself as alternative rock, but their sound also features elements of indie rock, jangle pop, dream pop, folk rock, post-punk, and pop rock. In 1991, The Cranberries signed a contract with Island Records and released their debut album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” (1993), which became a commercial success.

The Remembering Dolores is a 2021 compilation album by the rock band The Cranberries. It includes songs specially selected by the band members, family members, and other close colleagues in memory of the lead singer Dolores O'Riordan. This collection not only highlights the band's best creative moments but also honors O'Riordan's unique contribution to music and the band's cultural legacy.
