Metamorphosis is the third album by The Rolling Stones, released in 1975 by ABKCO Records. Initially, it was planned to be released as an album titled Necrophilia, but it was replaced by the compilation More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies). Later, bassist Bill Wyman compiled his own version of the collection called Black Box, but Allen Klein preferred a project with more songs by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, which became the basis for Metamorphosis.
