Innovative miniature phono stage with tube output and high quality sound! The Tube Box S2 is the first Pro-Ject product to feature completely hidden circuitry without the use of OpAmps (OpAmps). In addition, it is the first product to feature replaceable rewind and sound shaping lamps. This allows you to choose from a variety of options and change the sound signature according to your preferences. The Tube Box S2 delivers a full and quiet, relaxed sound with rich mids, as you would expect from a more powerful high-end tube phono stage. It supports MM and MC cartridges and has many front-panel switchable gain settings. Five variable input impedance settings are available to suit any MM cartridge, while the 47K ohm input impedance is fixed and suitable for high output MC cartridges. The aluminum/metal housing matches the DS2 line in appearance and protects against vibration and EMI for superior sound.
