The ART TPS II tube preamplifier is a two-channel rack-mount device that combines versatility, warm tube tone, and ease of use. Featuring Variable Valve Voicing (V3) technology, this preamplifier offers 16 presets organized into three groups: Neutral, Warm, and OPL. The Warm presets add a distinctive tube saturation, while the OPL preset protects the output signal by limiting peak loads and transients. A Flat preset is also available to recreate the classic sound of the original Tube MP.
The TPS II allows for independent channel-specific settings, including input and output gain, microphone impedance selection, phantom power, and phase inversion. Variable input impedance provides flexible sound customization for different types of microphones. The front panel features combo microphone and instrument jacks, as well as LED signal meters to help you monitor levels during operation.
With a wide frequency response (5 Hz - 50 kHz) and low distortion, the TPS II delivers a clear and natural sound with warm tube tones. This device is suitable for recording vocals, instruments, or other audio sources, providing professional results with minimal setup.
